Clayton received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 2023 where he double majored in Comparative Cultures and Politics and Russian Language while double minoring in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Western European Studies. He was a board member for Michigan State’s Dean of Students and lived in Budapest, Hungary during his undergraduate tenure. Clayton has studied Russian, Spanish, Hungarian and Ukrainian at the university level.

In his free time, Clayton enjoys traveling around the world, supporting MSU football with his friends in East Lansing and spending time in Nashville with his family.
