Griffin Kas is a Michigan native and recent graduate of WMU Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While there she consistently remained at the top of her class, was involved in the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta and given the opportunity to assist professors as a teaching assistant.
Prior to attending law school, Griffin received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and criminology from the University of Denver. While in Colorado, Griffin was able to give back to the Denver community by volunteering with the Denver Dumb Friends league and helping provide food for local homeless shelters. She also worked with psychological research programs providing counseling and assistance to victims of social injustice.
After college Griffin started working in the legal field. Between Colorado and Michigan, she has gained experience in corporate law, workers compensation and marijuana law. Before attending law school Griffin knew her passion was the marijuana industry and working towards making cannabis legal for all consumers, whether medical or recreational. Throughout her time back in Michigan this love for the marijuana industry has only grown.
