Ian Perrotta

Ian Perrotta is a 2019 graduate of Wayne State University Law School where he was a recipient of the Charles H. Gershenson Trust Scholarship, awarded to students with high credentials and outstanding character. He participated in the Transactional Law Competition while in law school and graduated with a Certificate of Pro Bono Service.

As the owner of Trixie’s Bar in Hamtramck, Michigan Ian brings with him a wealth of business experience and knowledge related to licensing and compliance with the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. With nearly a decade of experience in the bar industry Ian recognizes the challenges of running and operating a small business while providing a supreme level of service and brings those abilities to the practice of law.

Ian was also an elected member of the Hamtramck City Council and chosen as Mayor Pro Tem by his peers. As a Level Three graduate of the Michigan Municipal League’s Elected Officials Academy, Ian has a unique perspective and insight into the inner workings and decision-making processes of local governments.

In addition to his business interests Ian was also a founding member of Friends of Historic Hamtramck Stadium and was instrumental in getting the landmark placed on the National Register of Historic Places, opening up the revitalization project to millions of dollars in funding. When he isn’t working he enjoys doing construction and other building projects – many of which are incorporated at Trixie’s Bar.
